The farmhouse was built in 1919 near Poperinge in Belgium, close to the battlefront of WW1. In 2020, the sinking fundaments have been strengthened and the building is undergoing a complete reconstruction. The pictures were taken before the renovation, showing full 101 years old beauty.

"Hidden in a little wood, the old farmhouse keeps memories. Surrounded by whispering poplar trees, the unceasing wind from the nearby coast bends the trees, until their branches reach the ears of the neighbouring corn, which spread the memories further into the open landscape. Sometimes, birds pick the ripened corn grains and carry them abroad, in foreign countries, where the old farmhouse's stories live forever."
